Ayden turned the big numero uno! Can't believe he is one! We celebrated his birthday a week later than it really was because we were out of town. We had a fun BBQ with some family and friends. It was a lot of fun, and I am sure I went overboard-but we had a good time! Ayden has a milk allergy so I had to find a cake with soy frosting. Well of course I didn't-so last minute I decided to make one. I found a cake online that I liked and tried to recreate it with the help of my friend Rebecca. It ended up being a little much-and I wouldn't recommend trying to stack five layers on top of each other. You should have seen my mom and I trying to make it stay up! Happy Birthday to my mellow little man!

He was pretty dainty about eating the cake. When he really started to dig in everyone yelled to me so that I wouldn't miss it, and it scared him-so that was the end of the cake for him.
