These boots are made for walking!

These yellow boots have been Ayden's favorite thing the last several days. They are actually my nephew's-we had borrowed them a while ago, but Ayden just discovered how cool they are. The other morning he had them on before breakfast and was wearing them over his PJ's while playing outside. Little stinker!

On the 4th we went to Grandma Betty's neighborhood parade and pancake breakfast. Kipp and I used to live in this ward, so it was fun to see some people we haven't seen in a while.

Ayden was walking around with a glass of milk-so proud of himself. He kind of misstepped and the result:

Summer Fun

We had a great July 4th holiday weekend! We spent part of the 3rd at the Lehi pool with some friends. Ayden had a great time splashing around with his pals. What a great pool for any age! Even Kipp had a great time acting like a 5 year old-spraying kids with water guns and going down the slide. That evening we headed over to the Riverton Carnival. Ayden was initially excited about the rides that he saw-although was pulled off all of the rides that he went on because he was crying and tried to stand up. The best part is that after the worker would hand him to me, Ayden would look back at the ride and say "Weeee!" Kipp was not impressed with his son's behavior-and called him a baby several times. It was funny. Before:After:(hard to see his face-but trust me-he was crying)The look that Kipp gave Ayden several times when he was pulled off the ride earlyBefore:After:Although Ayden didn't like the rides, he was a fan of cotton candy!Ayden and his pal Marina
