We are so excited about our house that we are building. It is really starting to come along! Can't wait to move in!

A Typical Sunday with the Carlisle's

It is a well known fact in our family, that if you are a Carlisle, then you like to sleep. Anytime. Anywhere.

The in-laws like to joke that you never wake a sleeping Carlisle. Well friends, this is what a typical Sunday might look like at the Carlisle home-especially after a great Sunday dinner!

Easter

The Easter Bunny paid a visit to the Ware kids!

You better believe the kids got new matchy Easter clothes too!

After church the whole family came over to Grandma Betty's for a dinner and an egg hunt.

Grandma and Grandpa did such a good job hiding the eggs, that Addison couldn't find one of hers! (Grandpa ended up finding it weeks later while doing some yard work)

We are so lucky to have such a great family!

All Stiched Up

Colby is the first of my kids to get stiches-not that I am surprised. Ayden has always been a bit more graceful when it comes to life than Colby. Colby falls several times a day. This boy however, was a total champ! First of all, I was crazy busy that day and watching my nephew. So this happened at around 12:30 and we didn't get to the instacare until 8:30 that evening to get it taken care of.

Colby was in heaven while we were waiting to be seen-they gave him a bag a DVD's to choose from. We watched each one for about 2 minutes and then we would switch.

This little man was so brave. He did not shed one tear! Just laid there while I talked him through it!. Afterwards I was telling him that he was so brave and strong and the whole way home he said, "I stronger,huh mom? I braver, huh mom?"

Here's to wearing a band-aid all summer this year!

Lainey's Newborns

This little girl was one ticked off baby for her newborn pictures! Considering how upset she was, I think they turned out pretty well!

At one point during the shoot when she was especially mad, the photographers started "buzzing" at her and she stopped crying and fell right asleep! Craziest thing! I had never seen anyone do that before, and it worked like a charm! I asked them, "Did you just hypnotize my baby?" We quickly adopted this practice in our family. When Lainey is upset both Ayden and Colby can often be found "buzzing" at their sister.

The hospital has a rule that any kids under the age of 14 can't come to see new babies in the hospital unless it is a sibling of the baby, so these cute cousins were excited to meet Lainey

Meet the newest member of our family! I was set to be induced that morning-which I was a little nervous about. I had never had to have oxytocin to induce my labor. Everything went really smoothly. Asked for my epidural around 11:50. Felt some pressure and the urge to push around 1:10. Dr England came to check on my only a minute after I let the nurse know, and nearly delivered the baby before the nurse came back in my room. Lainey made her debut at 1:23 pm.

Do you think he is a proud papa? Kipp makes me laugh-he always makes a point of telling me that he has forgotten how to hold a baby and is nervous to take the baby for the first time. So Kipp.

Lainey weighed in at 8 lbs 1 oz and 20 inches long.

Time to head home!

I absolutely loved my time in the hospital! Always do! Watched Downton Abbey on Netflix, read a book and took a few naps. Riverton Hospital was great and the staff were all wonderful!
