Frightmares

We headed off to Lagoon's Frightmares again this year. We had gone to Lagoon earlier this summer and had so much fun watching Ayden that we thought we would head back again in the fall. It was perfect weather and we had a great time with the Dibbles. The kids were so darn fun to watch. They were having a great time!Colby really enjoyed riding Bulgy the Whale-had a smile on his face the entire time...That is until is stopped...Check out these faces! Do you think they had a fun time?

Cornbelly's

We had a great afternoon at Cornbelly's this fall. We haven't been there before and I was pleasantly surprised by how many fun activities they had for kids. We had a blast!
One of the most fun areas were the slides-loved by the kids as well as the adults!
Another favorite were the bouncing pillows! Here is Ayden on the pillows torturing Colby-just like normal!
Some of the babies with us had a rough day. Colby got stung by a bee right below his eye. Another one of the babies was stung on the finger. Colby handled it like a champ. He looked like he had been in a bar fight though! So we think we have found when Ayden's and Sadie's romance begun-at Cornbelly's! They danced together and Ayden drove Sadie's carriage. Not too long after this Ayden started telling me that he missed Sadie, that he wanted to kiss her, then actually did kiss her, and they started sneaking off together at Joy School. Do I really already have to worry about this boy?

Pumpkin Patch

We love going to the pumpkin patch to choose our pumpkins! Last year was our fist time going and Colby was only three days old. I think we will keep this tradition up. Ayden loves riding in the wheel barrow, sitting on the tractors and just running around.
Ayden just started wearing his hat backwards all on his own-crazy boy.

The evening that we went was freezing cold! We got all snuggled up for the outing!Man he is looking so old!

Can I hear a Happy Birthday?

Colby turned 1 in October. We are lucky to have this little fireball in our family. Boy, is his personality really starting to show! We started out the morning with presents, which his big brother happily helped him with!He had a little party with our families. Colby really enjoyed his cake. He started out a little dainty, but got more into it after a few minutes. There were a couple other boys that wanted to enjoy their cupcakes with their shirts off too! Thanks for being our sweet boy Colby! It has been a wonderful first year!

Happy Father's Day to Me?

A few months back my sister Nicole and I surprised our husbands with a paragliding trip for fathers day. Kipp has a small fear of heights ever since he was dropped into the ocean when parasailing. I thought I would help him get over his fear by doing this. Well we recently decided to schedule our "flights" and Kipp came to me with a very serious expression and told me that he could not bring himself to go. I guess his fear is a little bigger than I thought! So my little brother Ryan benefited from Kipp's fear and came with us instead. We had such a great time!At least Shaun enjoyed his gift! Can you tell by the grin on his face?

Red Rock Relay

I had a lapse in judgement earlier this year when I signed up for the Red Rock Relay. 12 people, 186 miles. It was actually a ton of fun, and since I got the easiest leg, I think I enjoyed it more than anyone on my team. It was a great adventure that I think will need to be repeated! The route was gorgeous! We were team "Incredibles"-and our team really was! We had some awesome runners that had some darn tough runs in the heat of the day-I was so proud of our team! After each of our three legs of the race, we were supposed to make a mark on the back of our leg to indicated that we had completed it. This after the whole race with all three of our marks!Laura's expression explains what a lot of us were feeling like after our runs!

What a pain in the ear!

So after almost 3 months straight on 5 different antibiotics this summer, Colby got ear tubes. We had it done at the new Primary Children's Riverton location. Smooth at butter! I think Colby actually enjoyed himself quite a bit! Little turkey has already had another ear infection since the procedure, but we are crossing our fingers that we are in the clear (for a while anyway!)
