Fill this out about your SENIOR year of high school! The longer ago it was, the more fun the answers will be!! It is fun and enjoyable...
1. Did you date someone from your school? Sure did. Spencer Beesley off and on for a while.
2. Did you win anything in Senior's Who's Who? Don't think we had that.
3. What kind of car did you drive? A sweet smurf-blue Honda Hatchback. We called it the Blue Dart! On several occasions my guy friends played pranks on my car. Many days I would get comments from people like, "Nice parking job Chels!" "Did you have to take up three spots this morning?" Well at the end of the day, I would go to my car finding that someone had rotated the front or the back of the car so that I was in several different spots. Another time I came out of my friend's house to find my car encased in snow. Snow shoved under the car, around the tires, up the sides and over the top. I slept at my friend's house that night. And many memorable drives through the car wash (five in one night-then off to the manual wash where they ended up coming to help me clean it).
4. It's Friday night...where are you? Probably a football game or at one of my friends cabins. We always had such a fun time on the ATVs and BBQing. taking car of my car. On several occasions my guy friends destroyed my car either by totally encasing my car in the snow so I had to dig it out or by completely covering it in chocolate syrup, ketchup, flour and other condiments.
5. Were you a party animal? Not really into the parties, but it was always a party with my crazy friends!
6. Were you considered a flirt? Oh yes, my friends thought I was scandalous. On multiple occasions one of my friends was mad at me for flirting with their boyfriend or crush. I think it was just my fun-loving personality ;)
7. Were you in band, orchestra, or choir? None
8. Were you a nerd? YES! I was in a lot of AP and Honors classes. The thing that I think made me nerdy was my inability to ditch class. I was way too responsible. Wish I could have carried those habits over to my freshman year of college!
9. Did you get suspended/expelled? Absolutely not!
10. Can you sing the fight song? I would think I could-but any time I try the BYU fight song comes out! Rise and shout the Cougars are out! I can't help it. I do remember the last line though.
11. Who were your favorite teachers? Mrs. Hughes-although tough-I learned a ton from her. Also can't forget Mrs. Walker and my honors English teacher my senior year. Can't remember her name. Started with a "B"-she was hilarious!
12. Where did you sit during lunch? Never stuck around for lunch-Wendy's drive through. Unless Kort got her way and then it was off to McDonald's. An occasional trip to Little Caesar's.
13.What was your school's full name? Alta High School
14. School mascot? Hawk
15. Did you go to Homecoming and who with? My senior year I went with the guy I had a crush on since 7th grade. Danny Stanworth. I was planning on this being the first date of a long relationship leading to a wedding of course. I ended up being so nervous that I was quiet and awkward the whole night.
16. If you could go back and do it again, would you? If I could keep the exact same friends again-maybe just have more confidence and know who I was a little more.
17.What do you remember most about graduation? It was soooo long! I remember sitting next to Casey Chow. Out of his graduation robes comes a bag of chips and a Mt. Dew. Thanks for sharing Casey! Can't forget Pepperwood Party!
18. Where did you go senior skip day? I think I finally managed to ditch towards the end of senior year-I think we ended up going to the pool.
19 Were you in any clubs? Drill team. We were at school at 5:30 in the morning everyday! What was I thinking?
20. Have you gained some weight since then? Oh heavens-gained! I used to be mini!
21. Who was your prom date? Brett Tolley-we had a great time.
22. Are you planning on going to your 10 year reunion? Sure-I love seeing people from the past. Even if they were people I wasn't especially fond of. I think most people have changed for the better and matured since high school.
I tag everyone I went to high school with that read this. It was really fun sitting down and remembering things from back in the day!

My next investment
So far this week I think I have done about 12 loads of laundry (including a poopy outfit that is rinsed out and waiting to be a part of load number 13). Ayden has been sick off and on since Monday morning when I got home from work. Throwing up here and there and diarrhea here and there. Unfortunately being the age that he is, he is unable to give warning or aim to any of the explosions that he is participating in, resulting in messes all over his bed, my bed, and other various parts of the house. At this time I only have one set of sheets for my bed. I have found this a little inconvenient before when doing laundry, I have to make sure that I do the sheets first so that they are dry and ready to put back on the bed before we go to bed. Now I have found that it is an absolute must to have a second set. Mark my words-that is the next purchase!

My agressive child
When Ayden is with other kids, he is always grabbing them. Whether it is a face or an arm, he has got a hold of them somehow. I hope I am not raising a bully!

Ayden pulling on Hannah's face (this pic was taken from Erin's blog because she captured the abuse much better than I did)

After dinner on Sunday, we all sat down to watch conference. With fully bellies, it wasn't long before all of us were asleep! Kipp got the greatest video on his phone of almost everyone in the room sleeping-the best part is you can hear conference on in the background. I was one of the guilty sleepers-although I really enjoyed what I was awake to hear!

Haircuts
When I was in high school we used to call make out sessions haircuts. It was an inside joke. So when we asked someone who cut their hair, we always got a good laugh when they would answer "my mom" or "some lady." It also worked the opposite way-when we would go out with someone we could also ask if he kissed them by saying, "did you get a haircut last night?" Kipp and I both just got haircuts-but not from each other. Our friend Becky did it-scandalous!
Here is the end product...Ta Da!

Prunes: Before and After
Ayden has been on solids now for a while, and ever since he went on solids he hasn't really had any disastrous pooping accidents. Well for a couple of days in a row the poor kid grunted all day long. We could make him laugh-but even that would turn into a low grunt. And he wasn't pooping as mush as he usually does-so we thought we would help the little guy out by giving him prunes. I think he had them on two different occasions.
P.S. Let me just add-this is no innocent baby poop. We are talking about (I know gross-sorry!) full on real person poop!
Before:play innocently (grunting of course)
After: need I say more? Good to know that prunes work!

Tag! I am it!
So I have been tagged several times and never follow through (I was tagged with the husband tag-which I am sure you have all seen and never did it and I think Kipp was a little sad, so you might even see that one eventually)-but here I go!

Here are the rules:
A: Each player lists 6 facts/habits about themselves
B: At the end of the post, the player then tags 6 people and posts their names; then goes to their blogs, leaves them a comment letting them know that they have been tagged and invites them to read your blog.
1-I am not at all creative so coming up with these six things are going to be a stretch!
2-I am one amazing sleeper. I think the longest stretch of sleep that I have had is 14 hours! Kipp is always amazed by my ability to sleep. I blame it on the strange hours that I work-but he thinks that I should back to normal again one day later-not the case.
3-I love gross things. I don't know if I should confess to this! I don't know if I became a nurse because of this, but I love cleaning out ear wax, suctioning snot, pulling hairs out of Kipp's many moles, cleaning lint out of Ayden's belly button-you name it-I am sure I would enjoy it. We have to drain kid's ears at the hospital and I always feel so great when a get a huge chunck of black dried up wax. Same with the snot. I look at a child after getting tons of snot out of him and think, "look how much I just helped you out!"
4-I love TV. I could probably find something to watch at 3 am when other people claim that nothing is on. I find myself watching some really stupid things sometimes-but yet-I am totally entertained.
5-I hate making goals. Most of the time I just don't. I will follow my goal for a little bit and then it usually dies off leaving me feeling like a failure. So no goals=no bad feelings toward myself.
6-I have a theory. Have you ever noticed that the really bad things happen to really good, nice people? Well that is why you have to be a little mean or bad every once in awhile. Meaning you have to cuss occasionally, get mad at your husband for something stupid, gossip here and there etc. I am sticking to this plan. I will let you know how it goes for me.
