Ayden woke up not knowing what the Easter Bunny was. I find that if I tell him about something, he then asks for the next week about a thousand times a day if it is time for that to happen. So for Easter I was a bit lame and didn't get him excited about what was coming. But on Easter morning he could tell by the excitement in our voices that it was something he wanted to be a part of.

Words of Wisdom
"No crash. Careful mom."
These are the words my 2 year old said to me as I was heading out for the evening.

Cars
I was working out in the basement, Ayden must have decided he was a little bored and headed upstairs. When I came upstairs, Ayden pulled me over to the highchair. "Mom, Cars honkey."
This is what I found:
Lightning McQueen is and always will be just "Cars." Ayden knows the names of all of the other characters but when we try to tell him that this is Lightning-it goes in one ear and out the other.

One for the Little One
Here are some pics of Colby's recent doings. He is a happy little guy-all you have to do is look at him and he will give you a great smile.
He is very loved by his older brother. I will often find dried boogers and whatever Ayden ate for lunch that day on Colby's head. Ayden can get a little carried away with the kisses sometimes!

Red handed...or white handed
We had an excellent, uneventful shopping trip to Harmons the other day. Or so I thought until I looked at Ayden when we pulled up to the checkout line. This is what I found...

Apparently powdered donuts are stored on a shelf at just the right height for little boogers to swipe!

Christmas
This is our annual Breakfast with Santa. This year we did it on Christmas Eve. It was a lot of fun as always! Thanks Grandma Betty!
My sister-in-law Cami and her cute family
Grandma Betty and all of the grandkids. In only a couple of years we have managed to match the amount of girls to the amount of boys!
Our pathetic attempt to get a picture of all of the kids.
Colby and his darling cousin Emma holding him. These girls are such good helpers!
I was so proud of Ayden this year-He didn't cry when he sat on Santa's lap! The day before I tried to prepare him. I said, "Ayden when you sit on Santa's lap he is going to say, 'Ho, Ho, Ho! Ayden, what do you want for Christmas?' Ayden's response:"poop!" Really? Are we already to that stage?

Santa brought Colby a Bumbo seat
My Crazy brother Ryan
My sister Celeste and my cute boys in their matching Christmas jammies
The hit present was one my sister brought for her little boy-a box of Kleenex he could go crazy with. He loved it-and Ayden quickly joined in.
Poor Uncle Ryan's back probably ached after a week of hanging out with Ayden. Ayden want him to throw him in the air every opportunity he got.

We had such a wonderful Christmas! We are so greatful for all that we have at this special time of year and the wonderful people we have in our lives to share it with!
